A conference dedicated to Nutrigenomics, the final frontier in nutrition research that studies the effects of interaction between nutrients and bioactive molecules of the diet with the human genome to prevent chronic-degenerative diseases related to food, is organized by the Council for research and experimentation in agriculture, with its Research Center for food and nutrition (Cra Nut) in Castellammare di Stabia. This is the eleventh Conference in Nugo (Nutrigenomics Organization, www.nugo.org), international scientific network of Nutrigenomics. In the meeting sessions, which was attended by more than 200 scientists from different European and non-European countries, have been deepened, in particular, the different aspects of diet-health relationship they are converging more and more the interest and commitment of researchers. In particular, the Cra, the identification of early biomarkers of disease; in fact, only if identified very early, the evolution of certain diseases related to food can be "preventable" with the diet.
